Introduction

HeatSuite contains introductory thermodynamic articles, simulations and software. There is also novel material concerning time dependent thermodynamics. Most programs are in the Ruby programming language. They are all open source, so you can view, copy, use and change the code as you desire.

  • Operate simulations right in your web browser.
  • Run programs written in the Ruby Language on your computer’s command line interface as is, or customize the code as desired.

Getting Started

You can use this site to learn about both coding and thermodynamics. Read the links about learning Ruby. The read the Journal articles, and try out the programs, first adjusting the parameters, then extending an changing the programs as you desire.

Please note that HeatSuite does not necessarily provide technical support. Use the programs at your own risk. (Command lines can be both powerful and dangerous!)
